Designed and produced in Montreal, Josiane Perron is described as having a spirit of "new vintage" and the line "evokes a casual femininity, nostalgic and contemporary". Sounds perfect for a shop that loves to mix vintage and classic with modern and innovative design, doesn't it? Here are a few Josiane Perron spring pieces we have in the store.....
Two new lines for us this spring, Josiane Perron and Atelier B., have arrived at the store and it's pretty clear that they are both going to be a great fit for us. Atelier B. pieces are simple and minimalist, with subtle details that you're sure to love for a very long time. Designers Catherine and Anne Marie also happen to be committed to ethical production and sourcing high quality sustainable fabrics - so for that we love them even more! Here are a few Atelier B. pieces we have in the store. These fantastic photos were taken by Maxyme G. Delisle..... This organic cotton dress has a secret feature I just love......a continuous pocket (kangaroo pocket) that's in just the right spot for comfort and coverage.... This last dress we actually have in a vintage red colour (not the grey shown) and the straps are removable.....
This spring Tracy Fillion, the designer of Dear Pony in Nelson, BC, has designed and printed some really beautiful fabrics exclusively for her spring collection. Have a peek at these pretty spring prints..... The Hokkaido pants below are made from a light weight hemp and recycled poly blend and they have a fantastic fit. There are no buttons or zipper, just a wide fabric waistband that wraps and ties so that the pants can be worn high waisted or you can fold the waistband over for a lower rise.
Jennifer Glasgow's spring/summer collection has been wowing everyone over the past couple of days. Unique designs with pretty lace and floral details, sustainable fabrics like linen, hemp, and tencel, plus vibrant colours like coral and tangerine as well as softer earth tones. Here's a preview of just a few of the pieces we have in the store.... I think this linen shift dress is really adorable, plus it has great pockets for collecting (or hiding) chocolate eggs! We also have new arrivals from another Montreal designer - Ramonalisa - which are making it look more and more like spring in here! P.S. Our Easter weekend hours are:
OPEN Friday and Saturday 11am to 5pm CLOSED Sunday OPEN Monday Noon to 4pm Have a great long weekend everyone! |
