We also got some new Black Drop Designs pieces in.  Jade's latest creations are these hand-hammered sterling silver cups filled with resin and a photograph.  The silver cups reflect light in a way that makes these pendants look lit from within....

Her wood pieces are also beautiful and I have to admit that I'm trying really hard not take this one home with me today....

While most of the clothing we carry is made here in BC, we do have a couple of lines from eastern Canada.  Rita Di Cesare is an amazing  Toronto designer who has two clothing lines - Rita Di Cesare and Nude Clothes.  We just got in some pretty Nude Clothes wrap skirts and dresses which will be perfect for those warm, sunny summer days... which we are sure to get anytime now!

Community Way

6/3/2010

Be is now accepting Community Way dollars!  For those of you who aren't familiar with Community Way, it's a local currency that can be used at various businesses in the Comox Valley.  Community Way is a fantastic program that benefits several different community organizations and projects and also keeps local money circulating in the Comox Valley.

We are accepting Community Way dollars for up to 30% of purchases (excluding sale items).  You can get Community Way dollars by buying them directly from any community organization that's involved - supporting your choice of community organizations or projects.  The Comox Valley Transition Society is one community organization that you can purchase Community Way dollars from.  What a great way to support women in our community!  Here's what our local currency looks like.....
