Last but not least, we just received the We3 Mae West skirt in black hemp (not the grey shown).
Some gorgeous new arrivals from We3! The Cowl Kimono Sleeve Essential Dress below can be worn long and belted, or pulled up so that the top blouses over like in the photo. Such a comfortable and easy shape to wear that we have it in red, black and grey. We have the Greta Garbo Tunic below in red (not the mauve shown). Both the We3 designs above and Yifat Jovani's designs below are incredibly flattering on lots of different body types. They only need to be tried on to fully appreciate the smart design details and soft, cozy fabrics. The Solstice Tunic above has a button at the shoulder so the front panel can be buttoned across the body like in the first photo, or unbuttoned and left draping down the body like in the second photo. We have this design in the store in a shorter length - the Solstice Top - in both teal and raspberry but we have sold out of the tunic length already. The top version is equally amazing though.
Last but not least, we just received the We3 Mae West skirt in black hemp (not the grey shown). In case you're starting to make plans already for 2013, we've just received calendars from April Lacheur featuring her beautiful artwork. These calendars definitely make great gifts but you're probably going to want one for yourself. We also have a selection of April's prints available in sizes 11x14 and 16x20. There are some photos below and you can see more of April's work at: www.yapespaints.com
Since moving to White Rock from the Comox Valley a couple of years ago, April and her art have been missed so we're very happy to have her art back in the store...... especially since she's the artist who designed the store logo! I'm so thrilled to be adding Trapper Jane to our ever growing list of BC and Vancouver Island made clothing lines. Besides having the greatest name, Trapper Jane clothing is beautifully handmade in Victoria with the "desire for well-constructed classic clothing" in mind.
Those amazing one-of-a-kind pieces made from reclaimed wool sweaters by Preloved and Paper People have arrived! Sweaters, cardigans, tunics, sweater dresses and skirts - all beautifully made from deconstructed wool clothing that's been saved from landfills and pieced together in new designs...... Betina Lou is a new line for us and so far I'm loving it! Made in Montreal from beautiful fabrics, and super cute photos too...... Also from Montreal, Josiane Perron fall pieces have arrived. We have this first wrap sweater in both cream and blue. It happens to look really fantastic paired with a Bywa leather belt...... P.S. We will be closed on Monday, October 8th, for Thanksgiving. Have a fantastic long weekend!
