One of my very favorite Comox Valley artists, April Lacheur, is moving away next month and her last show in the Valley is coming up this weekend. It's April's art on canvas that's in the Shi belt buckles, cuffs and pendants we have in the store. April will be at the Art & Bloom Festival at the Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens this Saturday, Sunday and Monday. She is planning to have some special deals just to thank Valley residents for their support. So if you're like me and have been coveting a piece of April's art for a while - now is the time! I know just the piece I want and you'll probably see it up in the store next week (unless my living room can't part with it!).
Besides her beautiful paintings, April will also have cards, prints, painted bags and journals at the festival.
